Provide the trees with water and fertilizer

Many trees prefer to be watered from below. Put your tree regularly in a slightly wet spot, and ensure it gets water. "Every week, I'm taking care of my trees 30 minutes to an hour. "It doesn't take long," Cosima said, sharing her tips on tree care when we visited her apartment. Add fertilizer to the watering routine to boost its growth, particularly during the growing season of spring or summer.

Choose the Perfect Position

If you ever ask why your houseplant is dead or the leaves are yellow, it is likely that too much sunlight is going on! Know the direction of sunlight movement in your home and pick plants to balance light and shadow, humidity and temperature. When are the plants sick? "You usually have to reduce the amount of sunlight it receives, trim the unhealthy part and see how it develops afterwards."

Use Water Wisely

Excessive watering are the most common mistakes we always made. Make sure your pot has a drainage hole so that water does not stagnate under the plants. Also, make sure the soil is moist and not too wet. Most of my plants are very easy to take care of. Only the Calathea tree needs more attention. I need to spray water on it three times a day to keep it moist.

Propagate Your Trees

Cuttings are most effective way to grow your tree collection without any cost. There are various ways to take cuttings. The method depends on the tree. If you look at the trunk of a tree like a money tree, you will notice small books - like a connector! Your cut should have a book. So, I will prune one stem right on top of his book and remove any leaves from the bottom. After that, it is ready to be placed in the water.

Help Your Cuttings Grow Its Root!

Put your cuttings in water so that they can grow roots—just water. You do not need to add anything. But change the water every two to three days to maintain its freshness. When the roots grow, place your cuttings in a pot filled with soil (do not use a too-large pot). Use special potting soil because ordinary soil contains too many nutrients and will damage the seedlings' roots."

Divide and double

Another way to propagate your tree is to divide it - completely separating the roots and the head. Carefully remove your tree from the pot and remove most of the soil so you can see the sources. Then slowly unravel the two parts and place each one in their respective pots. Press it into the soil mixture but not too tightly, so you avoid compacting the soil.
